FOR 435 Remote Sensing of Active Fire and Post Fire Effects
   

This course is taught by: Dr. Alistair Smith and Chad Hoffman

   
This course will discus the application, potential, and limitations of methods for the remote sensing of active fire and post fire effects, and interpretation of the results. The clarification of fire descriptors and the relative merits of remote sensing are also addressed. We will also go over how to identify an appropriate mapping technique dependent upon the specific questions to be answered.
